Born to an affluent Southern family, Courteney Cox began her career as a model, dropping out of college to sign with the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency. After a small role in As the World Turns, her first high-profile gig came in the form of the now infamous Bruce Springsteen video "Dancing in the Dark." A brief stint on Family Ties followed, where she played opposite Michael J. Fox. In 1994 she was cast in the surprise hit Ace Venture: Pet Detective, and the following year saw her comprise the role of Monica Geller on the international smash hit Friends. Also notable is her work in the Scream series where she met her husband David Arquette. Courteney will be putting her coquettish modeling skills to work as Jules Cobb in Cougar Town. |

Christa Miller was born in Manhattan, New York on May 28th 1964. Although her father wanted her to start a successful law career, she followed in her mother's foot steps as a model. At early ages she pursued a career they would see her through for her life. She landed a guest spot on her very first prime-time show Kate & Allie. Since then she has had guest spots on Seinfeld, Northern Exposure, Party of Five and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Her two most famous roles are Jordan Sullivan on Scrubs and Mary Katherine (Kate) O'Brien on Drew Carey Show. In her personal life, Christa is married to Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence. They reside in Los Angles with their three children, Charlotte, William and Henry. Christa plays Elle on Cougar Town.

Daniel Byrd was born on November 20, 1985 in Marietta Georgia. When he was 8 years old, he started in the acting business with his first role on the Lifetime TV series "Any Day Now" playing the child version of a main character. Dan went on to co-star in several TV movies, including "Salems' Lot", and guest on TV shows, including "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Joan of Arcadia", "Touched By An Angel", and "Judging Amy". He has also appeared in the feature films "Firestarter 2: Rekindled" and "A Cinderella Story". Dan co-starred in the short-lived CW show "Aliens in America." He plays Travis on Cougar Town.

 Josh Hopkins spent several years working on stage honing his craft before landing TV and film roles that have played off his good looks and versatility. The son of a former Republican Congressman, he was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, where he was a basketball star in high school. After training in voice and theater at Auburn University, Hopkins returned to his home town and joined the Actors Theatre of Louisville. Josh plays Grayson on Cougar Town.

Pretty blonde actress Busy Philipps started her career with strong performances as enjoyably uncompromising characters on "Freaks and Geeks" (NBC) and "Dawson's Creek" (The WB). Raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Philipps (born Elizabeth but dubbed Busy in her infancy) made her acting debut as Wilbur the pig in her third grade production of "Charlotte's Web". Thrilled with the experience, she went on to perform in Scottsdale community theater. At age seventeen, the actress took her first role away from home, hired by Mattel to play Barbie at New York City's Toy Fair. She plays Laurie on Cougar Town.
