Ryan Devlin ("Cougar Town") has been tapped to star as William Shatner's son in the CBS comedy pilot "Shit My Dad Says."

Devlin will play the character based on Justin Halpern, who created the popular Twitter account (which inspired the project) after moving back in with his cranky father (played by Shatner).

"Shit My Dad Says," of course, won't be the official title — but with Shatner on board, there's a movement afoot to retitle the project "Shat My Dad Says."
